Some offices get spreadsheets to track expenses. This one got a spreadsheet to track leggings, nose piercings, and approved lunch breaks. A 56-year-old coworker apparently decided her best shot at relevance was to build a Google Doc cataloging everything the receptionist did "wrong." By wrong, she meant "young," "married," and "capable of holding a conversation with men in the office without combusting."

The masterpiece of this document was shared with everyone. Nothing bonds a workplace quite like being CC'd into a stranger's midlife crisis. Everyone opened the file expecting numbers and got, instead, a tattletale log demanding HR bring swift justice upon someone for wearing cotton pants.

This wasn't even subtle sabotage. She literally wanted her office mates to march with her to complain about traits most of them barely noticed. Receptionist five minutes late? Who cares. Receptionist has lunch with husband? Sounds better than microwaving leftover lasagna at your desk under fluorescent lights.
